GitHub Portfolio Builder
A GitHub link is useful evidence, but it rarely explains the whole project. Pair it with the context a reviewer needs to understand your work.
Create a developer portfolio with DevsProfile or return to DevsProfile.
Use GitHub as evidence, not as the entire story
DevsProfile does not currently import or synchronize GitHub repositories. You can add a GitHub URL to your profile or project manually, then explain the project and your contribution alongside it.
- Describe what the project does before sending someone to a repository
- Name the technologies and platforms represented in the work
- Explain your role and responsibilities, especially on team projects
Make a repository easier to evaluate
A reviewer can use the project summary and contribution fields to decide whether a repository is relevant. Links to GitHub, a website, or a demo then provide a focused next step instead of an unexplained code dump.
Keep the public link intentional
Add only repositories that support the story you want to tell. Draft changes remain separate from the published profile until you explicitly publish them.
